Hey RN thanks for the Update, is the adx supporting this uptrend ? cause in the charts adx not yet supporting... its snuck below +ve & -ve & as you said it means change of trend ? & macd fast still unable to crossover......

I would'nt be surprised if the Oil cartel had arranged for gustav... public bought & they sold......

I dint short but booked profit at last moment of nifty as I thought charts were showing minor distribution......

I am avoiding trade for today as a 4300 close will waste both sides... though I think 4320 should happen today once, but taking no chances......

The ADX says go LONG with daybefore data.. do check... at least in my excel.. MACD fast line is still below teh slow line, but massive uptick in MACD histo.. this 500 point rally has shifted the technicals in favor of bulls that only if there is a 150 point fall in nifty the momentum can change....

This gave a big relief to the oil producers and resultantly, gas and oil prices saw a sharp cut. Also, Lehman brothers the much talked about investment group being in trouble is going to finally receive an investment worth 6 billion dollars nearly from the Korean development bank in return to the stake sell which would be nearly about 25%; this will further clear the impasse being present in the US financial system. The cut in the oil prices will lead to a welcome rally tomorrow in the global markets and we expect across the board a smart gains posted by the asian and its peer emerging markets. Interest rate sensitives are expected to post major gains tomorrow. saw sharp decline following concerns emerging from falling personal income levels, drop in IT bell weather DELL profits and sales and the category 4 storm devastations. It will be interesting to see during the holiday in the US markets today how much the storm has impacted the crude production and supply. Ok i got it what u mean by nifty volumes... its there in nse itself, below the graph on the left side is the chart, below that are the various indices.. click on S&P that is the nifty which is the first index, copy paste that strip of data to the file and then on top of that data you will find NIFTY WATCH, click on that and you will get *shares traded* which is volumes But for NIFTY TRIN copy paste the data from NSE LAST THREE DAYS file, filter on today's date, filter for *NIFTY* entries i think column CF and then copy from column A to column K and paste it in the same spot column A to K in NIFTY TRIN and for other columsn after K you do autofill from previous row... Hope its clear now?...

BearCartel, You mean Nifty volumes for NIFTY TRIN? See just go to the ADX portion of the NSE LAST THREE DAYS file. For volumes for today or any date ilter on that day's date, next filter on CF for NIFTY entries. You are done. Paste those 50 stocks in TRIN... to be sure you have pasted only 50 stocks the last relevant cell will show entry as 50 if u have done correctly. About RSI sell i have yet to update, will come back on this shortly....

Bearcartel, i am unable to reply to your yahoo messages becoz when i hit reply it takes me to a page that has no message box, it only has the address fields and subject fields...strange errors cropping up in yahoo.. i will explain updation over the weekend as it has to be done very systematically.... just to tell you briefly, download the bhav and paste it belwo zylog row, then autofill from the last row which is again zylog for all columsn after timestamp. Remove the colors for all rows except the header row and color the last row. Now SORT in one go ascending selected for all on SYMBOL SERIES TIMESTAMP in one go. Then filter each column after TIMESTAMP and look for errors like VALUE, FALSE AND DIV#0 errors and delete it in all except last row..thats why i have colored the last row so we know we dont delete it in the last row. The select data in all the rows (after timestamp column) except last row and copy the data, click paste special and select values, that will delete the formulae in all rows except last row. The formulae in last row is not to be deleted even if there are excel errors coz its used for autofilling for today's nse bhav... Same with FNO download FNO bhav and do it for NIFTY TRIN select today's date in NIFTY LAST THREE DAYS file and then filter on nifty and paste that data upto time stamp in nifty TRIN and do autofill For all other files just one row of data to be appended and autofilled from the row above... Bearcartel and Vam, yes its risky... but what fun to watch.. quick on the uptake and quick on teh downtake.. quicksilver 4300 PE CE today.. lol lol.. i think traders make money only on day of expiry trading both ways for some decent gains... now the 4300 CE can be sold and can be bought for decent gains if we dont close flat.. could u put down the theoretical losses and gains?...
