Hello BSR,
What a session of rally we had today just like how I had explained on my homepage two days back. I was anticipating this and went long in the morning and made a neat packet in the process. I believe you were short on the nifty, Did you suffer losses or are still holding unto your shorts. Did you notice, nifty closed exactly at my second resistance given at 3490.

Its all perspective... One school of thought suggests buying in smaller quantities over a long period of time, while the other school of thought suggests buying in one shot and forgetting about it till your target timeline.

I believe in the second approach... and yes in the short term it hurts, but I do not get affected by such cuts. The business is growing, the conditions are favourable.. company is expanding.. what else are you worried about?

Dividends would come on time as well...

I my vision is much beyond a few months and I have taken my share of shares... and now its time for me to search somewhere else.

Do not worry about Welspun Gujarat at all... its a business you have invested in and 250 is not at all a bad price... infact if you ask me any buy price close to 20 times earnings is considered good... you were getting this below 20 times when it was at 250.. be glad that you bought it at that valuations... 5-7 years down the line people would envy you when you`d tell them that you bought Welspun Gujarat at 250..

Go long is my approach...

I have a list of companies which I find are fundamentally strong and have excellent growth potential going forward... they will reward the shareholders in the long term.

The global markets are tepid. The Indian markets maybe volatile yet flat today. The weekend was quite with no major news and there may be a slight bounce in the market today. If there is no bounceback this week things will get worse going forward.

Hello novice1000,
Many many thanks for your good wishes for my future tradings. I also wish and pray that you execute just the right trades which increases your wealth considerably. I also feel great that you appreciate the posts that I posted in the past few weeks. I am sure it must have come as a great help to those who are new here. Ofcourse the smart like you need not be guided , but for those who are not aware of future movements of markets,my homepage strives to help them out everyday.
Yes since the past one and a half year, I was a pure trader only. But now with stocks available at such mouth watering prices, its hard to resist from becoming an investor too. Hence, I have designated two of my demat accounts just for investments purposes wherein I am building up a great portfolio for my Long term holding. Half of it is already built and the other half is waiting for another big dip. Then I shall just forget about it for the next two to three years and see it build up automatically without any effort.
Anyway, thanks for your good wishes once again and all the best to you too.

I am not sure whether market will provide that long time for stock picking unless Sensex goes below 8800 or Nifty below 2600.

I do not foresee this happening at present!

As mentioned before, currently Low Volume Game is going on!

Low Volume Game coupled with Price action may look FAR WORSE than that actually is.

Investors who are into this GAME should remain in the GAME at least till the expiry of this month. All prices will not collapse before Fed meeting at the end of Month! :) Keep a watch on YEN DOLLAR ratio! That is improving slowly. :)

Just do some Homework before putting any FRESH investments into the market!

I hope that clears some BS points for current situations.

dear lovemeall,

If what i remember is correct, you entered stock markets not very long and as you told earlier you were a trader basically.Now you are evolving in to a full fledged trader cum investor.I really appreciate that pace.

I have seen your msgs which you posted in the past few weeks in this thread.To be frank, there is absolute clarity in your msgs about the real problems.

Now with both technicals and fundamentals, i can safely say that you will mint money during the next bull run.
