3500CE should be around 80 rs if we open closer to where SGX is suggesting.. I calcualted based on the closed IV %..

These are times for strangles and straddles.. I agree recovery could be sharp, but its just not happening.. The OTM calls arent cheap either.. We could lose a lot on time-decay if we have one bad day..

I suggest you take positions on both sides, you could still make money..

Calls arent cheap either especially with less than 2 weeks to go for expiry.. 3600 CE was around 145 on wednesday..

Eshers, Would it be foolishness on my part to expect a recovery in dow today and Asian markets on Monday, i dont know. I already have one loss in my 4300 CE bought at Rs 48, two of them... i will go ahead and buy another 3500 CE two of them today.. whats the rate for 3500 CE?...

Eshers, Dow Jones is essentially bullish. They removed the shortselling ban in the latter half of the day, but DOW JONES had shown RSI BUY for two days in a row prior to ystday. So it was in the green until the ban was removed... then the slide... but even then the TRIN is at 0.7 inspite of the shortselling wave. SO VERY BULLISH.. one is not to be fooled by its fall....

Dear eshers, I have sold 4300 PE at 307, and started selling CALLS everyday, when ever i get 50 to 100 rs profits on sold calls I have booked profits, during this volatility I have made around 400 * 50 rs in sold calls , Now I have Two Sold PUT`s 4300 PE, Average 405 rs, and I have bought Two 3800 PE average 140, for next two weeks I will be selling calls and look to make 50 rs or More each time.....

0307 Dear eshers, There can not be a second opinion on what you say.If we can not enter now,when else we can?. But the points to be noted are Wait for the prices to cross at least the 20 dema to enter.That would give some stability Or else do SIP from now on for every 10% fall from the current level of the stocks you have chosen One should also remember that the waiting period may be a couple of years.But the return would be higher than 20% annualised beating the debt mkt.
