Jatt word is for farmer really... it can b a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim.... A sardar is someone who fallows Sikh faith.....There are lots of Punjabi Hindus and Punjabi Muslims but very few christian Punjabi\\`s.... as British entered India from south and work them self\\`s up north.... main time they had converted a lot of people to b Christians .... we in north don\\`t believe in converting our self and we don\\`t convert others to our faith....... so the British were in India for over 200 years..... but in north India they ruled just about 100 years or in some parts less than that..even those not without a fight.... so when they left we in north said wait a minute where you think you are going...... now we are coming with you.......lol

Whats the difference between jatts and sardars.. jatts are pujabis right? Like how many sects and subsects in punjabis.... all ur relations are settled abroad with you... do ur kids speak punjabi... whats the difference between sindhis and punjabis.. how did sindhis form a separate sect? Wonder wonder i wonder all the time about various sects and communities in Inida... reallly amazing.. lol lol... btw are there punjabi muslims and christians also? What about buddhists? punjabi buddhists?

Oh ya there all kinds of Punjabi media over here..... 24 hour radio.... internet radio.... talk radio... name it..... they are building this new Hindu temple in town.... just coming to completion now.... you can see it on Google earth just type........baps swaminarayan mandir, toronto...... in serch box..... I think they have spent 22 million dollars on this temple..........amazing ... check it out.....

I have been in the process of shifting from Bangalore to Gulbarga and could not look at the stock mkt and msg board for about a month.

I fully agree with you that the pundits would appear with buy recom.after sensex crosses 18K. They would be sending mad buy calls if it goes up further. When it comes down and if it hits 10K, they would be begging each and everybody to get out. We know why!

But we learnt our lessons also, may be after burning our fingers.

After seeing the up and down several times, I have come to one conclusion. The mkt can see 10K or 20K or 30K or vice-versa. The nature of mkt is cyclical. In my marketing life of near about 30 yrs, I visited all over India a number of times and met lakhs of dealers, merchants and traders. I experienced the cyclical changes several times. Although I have been in textile line, I have close contacts with other business people. In addition to that I have also seen how my sons experienced frustration and musthy in the software job mkt when the up and down cycle chased them. During my marketing period, I was able to dispose of even the worst material at a better price when the mkt was bullish and faced unpalatable complaints for thecream of products when the mkt went through bearish trends. Although I entered into stock mkt after my retirement and that too due to the pressure of my son to keep me occupied, (altogether a new field), I found the basic funda remained as the same.

If anybody says that the mkt would touch 10K again, it doesn`t surprise me. It is possible. It can go up to 40K also (here no time period can be specified). The only debating point is whether the pundits those who talk about 12K and 18K when they see a small hulchhal in the mkt is realistic or not. But, I may repeat that we know things better than them now and the mkt is not going to stand at its own feet at least for a few more months. Don`t ask me how many months-here itself lies the hidden secret of the mkt which nobody knows yet.

I made lot of mistakes in the stock mkt and therefore I would like to reveal that I am not an expert in this field.

Hope you will bear with my untimely interruption.

Why dont you put it out in the cananda local punjabi daily if there is one.. i have often told teh bangalore guys to take up their deficiency to the media and make an issue of it.....i told them i dont mind dressing up in rags and posing for the attention hungry media... i can tell them ICICI DIRECT is responsible for my riches to rags story.... you should create a sensation about them with some media preferably NDTV... coz only they can produce melodrama with the TAIN TAIN TAIN background music... couple of you should show ur zero balance account statements coz of icicidirect and some women should dress up in rags and pose for the media...

Stop your non-sense you motivated commenter. You want to further your personal motives through these columns. By the way how much have you paid to propagate your motivated views. People do get influenced by persons like you and sell their stocks. That is how you succeed. It is like the story of a \\\\`Brahmin and the three thugs\\\\`. When the three thugs one after the other told the Brahmin that the goat he was carrying wasn\\\\`t goat and was something else, the Brahmin abundened the goat thinking it was some \\\\`pretatma\\\\` in the guise of a goat looking differently to different people.

You are in the category of one of the thugs with some other propagating such baseless fears about the martket. Poor gullible investors get misled and abunden (sell) their securities. Thus you achieve your motive.

US Takes over Freddie and Fannie

Unless YEN DOLLAR ratio improves, there will be RISK AVERSE nature in global markets! Ratio is still close to 106!

Anyway, US government has no option but to bail them out. Otherwise, there would have been total collapse of WALL STREET FINANCIAL market! :)

Btw, as they say that any trader who survives these current markets -- among the most turbulent ever -- will surely be stronger for the experience. :)

Another point:

The Bottom Line
It appears that this potential plan will cost taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. The common and preferred shares of Fannie and Freddie would be reduced to little or nothing, and any losses on mortgages they own or guarantee could be paid by taxpayers. We have been warning about bottom-fishing in these particular names. Monday’s market open does not look good for either stock.

Yes you are rite, I normally try to log through different servers if there is problem but nothing seems to b working there last nite...I have high speed internet....still could not do it....I could imagine people with slow connection....must been having problems even getting the site on screen...... not good......
