Well I don\\`t know how to go in deep detail numbers but I m sure our prime minister knows whats better for the country...... If I am not not mistaken it was him as finance minister who opened the duties on gold when it was trading close to 300 usd...... n look where we are today.... I m sure he can think.... look we are importing problems anyways.....we are pumping enough carbon in air which will cause health problems ..... n cost of that alone may exceed this nuke waste... so a price has to b paid one way or the other...... its better to have a healthy nation than a sick one........+ what we achieve today ( wavier )will stay with us for ever we can always change our mind depending on nuke power........ for now I think its a good deal..............

I think the gap above 4600 needs to filled....... we could easily land anywhere from 4850 to 5200 on nifty.......but first it has to break that 4600 to 4650 with a convincing push............yes...hahaha ...

I think its good to kick start India to short to medium term.....it will give us quick boost ..... but its not so good for long term......as you said it will bring problems of its own.......as you said disposing nuclear waste.....than when these reactors get old its not cheap to replace them......... From what I see happening in western world is that its turning to wind power big time...........

At a cost of Rs.15/- plus levels per one kwh, if 15000 MW of power generation is achieved in the next 15 years or so.. it will be 20 times bigger than an Enron.All dsitribution companies and transmission companies in India will bankrupt. US is planning to spend 90 billion $ for the proposed dump to keep nuclear waste.Can India ever think of such huge expenses when 76 crore Indians are having an income lesser than 2$ per day? regards ...

Dear pkjattking, Just for clarification: I did not say Gold will come down to 400 level in couple of years. What I mean was that Gold, Silver, Oil showed a good BULLish move in last couple of months. BS experts including some so called boarders advised everyone to dump equity and wait for gold or oil to rise to invest! :) If you look at the graph of Gold / Oil, you will see similar kind of pattern! Just like Nifty or other index went to good heights in Jan during its BULLish times - 21000 level... Oil went close to 150 level with crazy target of 200 level... Gold went close to 1000 level with crazy target of 2000 level... now both oil and gold are going down! In my opinion, oil will be available under 100 soon... gold will be available under 750 level soon... Equity has started moving up in spite of all kind of BEARish BS stories! Remember some of the richest ppl on earth are richest due to equities worth, not due to gold... I am not aware of any richest GOLD billionaire. :) We are at the right time in equity! YEN DOLLAR ratio improved. Smart PLAYED the GAME well in DOW yesterday! As Buffet says that stock market is designed to move money from active to passive! If people can wait for years in Gold, oil, silver, land, then why not equities. Once Nifty crosses 4650+ level, all those Genuine LT investors will be richly rewarded! :) :) Anyway, GAME is SAME everywhere... As mentioned on my homepage on Sep 1, DOW was showing inherent weaknesses on chart... has corrected a good value to 11100 - 11200 level range... Interesting thing to note is that I thought that this will take at least two days. However, within a single day, DOW has got into that position. Probably, time for Bernanke and co. to issue some statements in coming days... Oil is already DOWN to 107 level... will soon be available at 100 level... 7.11 -2.24 -2.05% Rest you can deduct yourself how things can PAN out in FUTURE!... as we know, stock market looks to FUTURE, not to present or past! :) DOW will overreact for these two days as BILLIONS of DOLLARS were at STAKE to BUILD that BEARIsh positions before the suddent collapse in OIL PRICES! :) :) Moving those billions by BIG PLAYERs take time! :) In case, Nifty goes below 4325 again, then wait and watch the GAME from sidelines! :) For today, DOLLAR YEN ratio is DOWN! yes such a fall was not indicated techincally speaking at least... they might recover all the lost ground today as ystday was not technically right.... nor economic reports that came in should have caused the fall... today they might regain lost ground if efficient market theory holds water. LOL.. Lets see.. after the shock ystdsay we feel like throwing TA to the bin....

I am expecting a fall in US markets. Reason: the PE is almost 25. Too expensive for any new bull run to start....
