PE is low 3.61 n EPS 157 at fv 10/-
The co has a capital of 52cr n preference capital of 100cr approx
Last year the co was affected by derivatives in ECB n incurred a net loss of abt 15cr n now the equation due to reversal of us$is changed so the loss may turn in to an advantage but this is a common phenomena in capital goods industry
They have a cost escalation clause in all their export supplies which are appro 85%of sales n fixed price clause in domestic sales which is about 15% of total revenue
The co is from JINDAL stable n all their cos are doing very well
out of bros NAVIN,SAJJAN N PRJINDAL,the co is managed by PRJ and have professional CEO Mr INDRESH BATRA,looking after foreign sales
It has composite plant for mfg,finishing n saw application on pipes
This is the right time to enter this stock for atleast 50% gains over CMP in 12-18 months period
over a period demand for their products is increasing
Peers are WEL SPUN,MAHARASTRA SEAMLESS,PSL,MAN INDUSTRIES etc
I feel its good investment

hi radhika,no doubt chandigarh is a beautiful city but we left out of compulsions n not choice
In 2001,both my children daughter,were serving in mumbai n he requested his bank to give a posting in mumbai
He is a punjabi,but surname GABA/GAUBA is lessor known coz we are few in number
We have relatives in b'lore thats Prakas traves group
I am nayyar,so you can know from that n GABA(gau-cow,ba-son of)
Punjabis are very much moving community n will venture out any where in the world provided we get good opportunity of career/business
My son is now in USA since we came here,but finally we will settle in north only
in chandigarh too its painted in local but hardly buses ply regularly n frequently n most of ppl have their own means of transport
There was a survey which found out that per capita vehicles are highest in chandigarh in india
We believe,let us hug every one from any part of the world,you get love n affection
WE say whats in fate,that u will get as food n water(JAHAN DANA PANI HOGA)

Hi radhika,chandigarh too is a place like other cities in india if you see economically but definitely,it being a planned city has advantages over other indian cities
its divided in sectors n it has apprx 50 sectors(when we were it had only 47)up to sector 37,you have to have sigle ownership house and later on there were changes in master plan n apartment act was introduced
This is a city of service class ppl and early residents were allotted huge plots by the then CM late pratap singh kairon to his close n influencial ppl
The rich have laded n agri,properties in PUNJAB&HARYANA but for educatio n better living they have come to chandigarh
The property in last 5 years has escalated to very high price n in fact no vacant plots atr available,it has an area of 121sq mts ie 11X11 km on both sides
On its north is a beautiful town ship of PANCHKULA N on SOTH IS MOHALI,1ST in HARYANA n 2nd in PUNJAB You can find better houses in PANCHKULA than chandigarh but other facilities are more in CHANDIGARH,being the capital n High COURT for two states
You find very very big parks n gardens in chandigarh n can find thousands of ppl having morning walk
With these qualities,its known as CITY BEAUTIFUL
We had a huge apartment in PANCHKULA but sold last year to swap for an apartment in MUMBAI
ITS not out of the way to tell you punjabis are not fools but FLEXIBLE But more than that the world is so small that ppl adopt culture of different parts of our country

Thanks for your detailed analysis on Jindal Saw. There is no doubt about its fundamental strength and it can give 50% return in 12-18 months time period also. However, I feel that this share could be available a bit cheaper on a day when the market faces weakness and on that day it should be bought for LT investment. Thanks for your views. ...

MOKSHAG, If chanidgarh is so beautiful why did u swap that place for an apt in the crowded polluted Mumbai.. i wouldnt have.. ur husband said GABA means cow...was he pulling my leg or is it true.. i thought ur gujaratis but seems like ur punjabis... GABA means punjabi? Strange surnames isnt it all over India... here we have Kamat, Kulkarni, etc etc.. lol lol... i think its only the BHAGWAT GITA that connects the whole of India.... i dont know how the other religions found their way in... we are ourselves so dissociated if not for the scriptures... thats how i feel when we read these surnames... BTW I feel its better everyone sticks to their own state.... nowdays a kannidaga will think 100 times before he settles down in TN... besides reading boards on buses and in public areas in local lingo is a pain... no english boards here in Karnataka.. i am not sure how it is in Chandigarh... had i not been a kannidaga here in bangalore i would have had a nervous breakdown reading those boards....when such is the attitude of each state, i feel future bodes different things... its better everyone settles down in their own state......
