YOU HAVE NOT GONE WRONG... you have maintained that there have been mixed signals.. somthing incomprehensible was happening.. i maintain that too... signals HAVE been very mixed.. and confusing too.. somthing wrong somewhere.. or rather somthing ,i, am unable to understand for the moment.. at the moment the only way to trade is being stock specific.. money is there.. but in the right stocks... all the really REALLY beaten down sectors are likely to give a 20% return.. try that as well... reliance power, jyothi streuctures, axis bank., mrpl..

Hey radhika.....I will answer ur queries one by one.....

how ofen does he shuffle his portfolio??????

Normally he won't shun the portfolio too often.....But before choosing a company he will analyse the same in all angles.....Very few of his recommendations had gone wrong......but it got offset by heavy profits in other counters.....

What are the sectors he concentrates on????????

He is not very particular with a specific sector.....But each and every sector he goes for the fundamentally strong company

its his own NETWORTH of 10 crore or is it his private company's networth??????

It's his own networth derived mostly from his own efforts....

Does he watch CNBC, NDTV Profits.. does he read the pink paper , economic times, business standard... does he watch the market everyday???????????

Yeah.....Unlike me he does everything what u have mentioned.....I mean I am poor in reading whereas he mostly go with the capital market which he had subscribed for one year or so....

what does he say about warren??????

I have not heard him saying much about warren buffett.....may be due to the reason that he himself is a junior warren buffettt...Ha..Ha..Ha

Why then ur sis asked me for trading techniques when ur father is such a guru himself??????

The reason is my father like me won't go much with the technicals whereas I told my sister that u are strong in technicals.....The reason according to me my father won't go with the technicals might be he believes more in fundamental than the technicals.........Regards...

What\\`s your take for Monday 10/09/2008 ?
There is a lot of talk, may be loose, on a gap up of 50,100 and even 200 points.
By your strategy we should +/- 30 to the 5th. C of 4366 and see if higher Bullish and if lower Bearish.
Cheers!!!

Market value added (MVA) :

MVA. The difference between the market value of a firm and the capital contributed by investors. A higher MVA indicates that a company has added more value than what has been contributed to it by shareholders, while a negative MVA indicates that the company has destroyed value.
